Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)

The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) is a broad anti-corruption law that prohibits individuals and companies from bribing foreign officials for business purposes. The FCPA also includes accounting provisions that must be followed when operating in foreign countries or working with foreign entities. Companies and employees operating in or working with foreign entities must follow the practices outlined in the FCPA to avoid the appearance of bribery or corruption. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to identify general components of the FCPA, identify the anti-bribery and accounting provisions in the FCPA, and identify safeguards to prevent FCPA violations. This course is presented in English and Spanish.
