Every employee can do his or her part to prevent injury by identifying hazards and correcting what they can correct, or notifying a supervisor about hazards they can’t correct on their own. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to identify and recognize the need for safety and health programs and OSHA’s role in promoting them, common types of workplace hazards, the hierarchy of controls and its purpose, and general emergency preparation and reaction strategies. This course is designed for workers in any industry.
