Hydrogen sulfide gas is a common hazard in the oil and gas industry. Employees who successfully complete this course will demonstrate knowledge of the sources of hydrogen sulfide, its physical and chemical properties and effects on the body, hydrogen sulfide exposure controls and exposure response. This course is designed for oil and gas industry employees in Canada who, during their regular work duties, may come in contact with hydrogen sulfide gas, and can help Canadian employers meet hydrogen sulfide safety requirements contained in provincial, territorial and federal OHS laws.
