HAZWOPER General Site Worker 8-Hour Refresher – Canada – Module 4 – Site Entry and Reconnaissance

HWP-4.2can

Before general site workers can enter a HAZWOPER site, the site must be properly characterized so the best worker protection methods can be identified and implemented. Characterization is a process which includes pre-entry reconnaissance and continual assessment while on the site. This course is the fourth in a series of modules designed to meet the annual 8-hour refresher requirements for HAZWOPER general site workers. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to identify the proper approach for preliminary and comprehensive site characterization, and the process for conducting a successful on-site survey.
