Rigging Safety: Tools and Equipment (Microlearning)

SNP-207.2

Rigging is a complex operation that requires extensive planning to keep everyone safe. An unstable load, a misinterpreted hand signal, lack of experience, lack of maintenance, and infrequent inspections can all cause incidents. Only trained and qualified individuals should ever attempt to perform rigging operations. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to identify tools and equipment used in rigging. This microlearning course covers a small part of a broader training topic. For a broader awareness-level training experience, see OCS-3.2 Rigging Safety.
