Slips/Trips/Falls in the Construction Industry

In the construction industry, nearly one third of all reportable injuries and 40 percent of fatalities are the result of slips, trips and falls. Injuries from slips, trips and falls also result in 50% more days away from work than other types of injuries. There are many situations that can cause slips, trips, and falls, such as slick spots on floors, debris and clutter that can be tripped over, and unsafe stairs or ladders. This course will help learners recognize and correct slip, trip and fall hazards on the job. This course is intended for all employees in the construction industry. This course is presented in English and Spanish.
